Junior

Junior membership is open to all middle and high school students interested in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math.

Undergraduate

Open to all college students studying Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math.

Graduate

Graduate membership is open to all graduate and doctorate students studying science, technology, engineering, or math. Graduate students have the option to join SHPE either with a Student or Professional Chapter or Region-At-Large.

Associate

Associate membership is open to anyone who believes in our vision and wants to participate. Associate members benefit from our Career Center, professional development, mentorship, and all other programming.

Professional

Professional membership is open to all STEM professionals who hold an engineer-in-training certificate or a bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or math. No matter if you’re looking to enhance your professional brand, develop your leadership skills, build your network, or give back to your community–a Professional membership with SHPE offers it all.

 

SHPE & Society of Women Engineers Joint membership

  • $25 Collegiate Joint Membership (New or Returning)

  • $125 Professional Joint Membership (Renewing)

  • $145 Professional Joint Membership (New; includes the $20 application fee on the SWE website)

Joint membership with the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) further promotes the collaborative partnership between SHPE and SWE. The goals of this program are to improve networking opportunities and expand professional development for Hispanic women engineers. Lifetime Professional & Lifetime Associate Membership

This category of membership is shared by an elite group of individuals who have made a lifetime commitment to support SHPE’s mission and goals.

A Lifetime Professional membership is open to all STEM professionals who hold an engineer-in-training certificate or a bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or math, and who are willing to pay this one-time-only membership cost.

A Lifetime Associate membership is open to anyone who does not qualify for Lifetime Professional status but supports and encourages the members, purpose, and mission of SHPE and is willing to pay this one-time-only membership cost.

There is a payment plan option available for Lifetime Memberships during the checkout process. The membership becomes active once payment has been received in full.
